John Baxter

John has over 25 years’ experience in all fields of the building and construction industry from small residential jobs to multi-million-dollar commercial builds. He has worked extensively throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe were he learnt and developed skills in traditional carpentry and joinery. Which he then brought to Australia, working in Sydney specializing in this detailed work from restorations to bar fit outs.

Now currently residing in the southern Highlands NSW with his young family, here he spent the first 5 years working as a foreman for a local award-winning builder.

Baxter Building and Joinery was then created out of his passion to develop his own projects which utilize his unique talents and skills. From Concept, to approvals, to project management and right down to the fine detailed finishes, John is devoted to delivering the best results for his clients.

With a workshop in Robertson, John can create bespoke joinery and furniture from his wide selection of hardwoods from Australia and Europe.
